These Terms of Service govern your use of the products, services, and website operated by c-Seven Media Inc., a Canadian corporation based in Ontario. By purchasing a product, subscribing to a service, or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

c-Seven provides WordPress plugins, managed web hosting, professional email hosting, web design, and custom software development. All products and services are described on this website and may change from time to time at our discretion.

2. Accounts

Certain features require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate, current information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Purchases and Payment

  • All prices are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes, including Ontario HST.
  • Payments are processed securely through Elavon, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number.
  • Annual plugin licenses renew each year. You will receive a reminder before renewal. You may cancel at any time before your renewal date.
  • Hosting and email subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and may be cancelled at any time effective at the end of the current billing period.

4. Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If a product does not function as described, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Refunds are not available for services already rendered (e.g., completed web design work, hosting already consumed). Free products and promotional purchases are not eligible for refunds.

5. Software Licenses

  • Plugin licenses are domain-locked — each license key is valid for one production WordPress installation.
  • Staging, development, and local environments are never counted toward your license limit.
  • Annual licenses include updates and support for the licensed period. After expiry, the plugin continues to function but will not receive updates.
  • You may not redistribute, resell, or share your license key. Violations may result in immediate revocation without refund.

6. Hosting and Email Services

  • Managed hosting includes the storage allocation specified in your plan. Additional storage is available at the published per-GB rate.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate hosting accounts that violate our acceptable use standards, including but not limited to: illegal content, spam distribution, excessive resource consumption, or activity that degrades service for other customers.
  • We perform regular backups but recommend you maintain your own independent backups. We are not liable for data loss.

7. Intellectual Property

All software, code, designs, trademarks, and content on this website are the property of c-Seven Media Inc. unless otherwise stated. Your purchase of a plugin grants you a license to use the software — it does not transfer ownership of the code.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law, c-Seven’s total liability for any claim arising from your use of our products or services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific product or service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with Canadian privacy legislation.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on this website. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
