Billing information — credit card details (processed securely by Elavon — we store only the last four digits and card brand), billing address, and company name if applicable.
Support communications — messages, attachments, and contact details when you reach out for support.
Order details — products purchased, license keys, hosting plans, and subscription history.

Information Collected Automatically

License verification data — your website domain and WordPress version, transmitted when our plugins check license validity. This is used solely to enforce per-domain licensing.
Basic analytics — pages visited, referral source, browser type, and device. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
Server logs — IP address, request timestamps, and URLs accessed, retained for security and troubleshooting purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

To process purchases, deliver products, and manage your account.
To provide technical support and respond to your inquiries.
To verify software licenses and prevent unauthorized use.
To send transactional emails: order confirmations, license keys, download links, renewal reminders, and support responses.
To improve our products and website based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns.

3. Third-Party Services

Elavon (Converge) — payment processing. Elavon is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Your card data is transmitted directly to Elavon’s secure servers. We never store full card numbers.
Hosting infrastructure — we use trusted, secure hosting providers. Your data is handled in accordance with Canadian privacy standards.

4. Data Retention

Account and order data is retained for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period for legal and accounting obligations (typically 7 years for financial records under Canadian tax law).
Support communications are retained for the life of your account to provide continuity of service.
Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time (see Section 7).

5. Data Security

We protect your information using industry-standard measures including TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest, role-based access controls limiting employee access to personal data, and regular security reviews and software updates.

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We will notify affected users promptly in the event of a data breach, in accordance with PIPEDA requirements.

6. Cookies

Session cookies — required for login and cart functionality. These expire when you close your browser.
Authentication cookies — remember your login between visits if you choose “remember me”.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers, or social media pixels.

7. Your Rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

Access your personal information held by us.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Withdraw consent for the collection or use of your information (which may affect our ability to provide certain services).
Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you believe your privacy rights have been violated.
